Oracle Financial Services Global Industry Unit (FSGIU) is seeking a Master Principal Solutions Architect for their Global Digital, Architecture & Technology team (GDAT) in the Banking Solution Consulting function. This role involves driving GTM strategies, leading strategic customer engagements, and designing solutions for a wide array of Banking Solutions. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of relevant IT solution support experience, strong technical skills in microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and banking applications, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both business and technical stakeholders. The role requires extensive travel (>50% of work hours) and is open for multiple locations across Europe.
Responsibilities For Master Principal Solution Architect - Banking
- Lead and collaborate with other parts of Financial Services organization in sales pursuits
- Deliver architecture narratives for FSGIU products
- Create GTM strategies, client presentations, and RFP/RFI responses
- Influence product development based on market trends and client requirements
- Enable field/sales teams with product information and technology updates
- Maintain expertise in current business/industry environment
- Drive solution assurance process for sales executives
- Drive cross-LOB opportunities
- Interact with vendors to evaluate third-party solutions
- Collaborate with Product/Engineering teams
- Plan and execute technology/architecture led account strategies
- Demonstrate innovative approaches in sales pursuits
- Enforce consistent presales processes
- Create reusable assets to explain FSGIU architecture differentiation
- Build strategic partnerships with key decision makers in customer organizations
Requirements For Master Principal Solution Architect - Banking
- 15 to 20 years of relevant IT solution support experience
- Strong communication skills for technical concepts
- Experience in microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and banking applications
- Programming background in Java, WebLogic, Spring Frameworks, Mobile, Oracle Databases
- Public Cloud experience and certifications
- Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps and CI/CD tools
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English and other regional languages
- Willingness to travel >50% of work hours
