Technical Operations Engineer

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to join their Sovereign Cloud team. This role focuses on building and operating government, classified, and sovereign cloud regions with high reliability and performance standards. The position involves managing production environments, including systems and databases that support critical business operations.

As a Technical Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for administration and analysis of multiple production environments, recommending solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability. This role requires deep technical knowledge combined with administration/analysis expertise in Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support for complex production environment challenges.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux System Administration, networking, storage, compute, and virtualization. You'll be working in a customer-focused environment, participating in incident management, and contributing to the operation of high-performance cloud infrastructure. The role offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology while supporting mission-critical government and enterprise systems.
