Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing spatio-temporal motion planning algorithms
  • Collaborating with decision-making and controls teams for maneuver execution
  • Developing high-quality functionality and APIs for on-vehicle capabilities
  • Creating metrics to measure performance of planners on AV platforms
  • Influencing technical strategy within the Planning Team
  • Documenting and training others on team's work
  • Contributing to improving team processes and solutions

Requirements

  • PhD or MS in related fields with professional experience
  • Hands-on experience in trajectory planning
  • Proficiency in modern C++ algorithm development
  • Experience with trajectory planning formulation and transcription
