Platform Engineer (DB Specialist)

PayPay Card is seeking a Platform Engineer specializing in databases at scale for mission-critical systems. The role involves database operations, including monitoring, configuration management, upgrade, scaling, backup, and data migration. You'll be responsible for improving operational quality and efficiency, troubleshooting stability and performance issues, contributing to documentation, and researching new tools in database ecosystems. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with databases, particularly Oracle or MySQL, and AWS. Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of DBA experience (3+ years with Oracle or MySQL)
• 3+ years of AWS experience
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC - Terraform)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell)
• English business proficiency
