Description For Chipset Systems Architect - Senior Lead

Qualcomm is seeking a Chipset Systems Architect - Senior Lead to join their innovative team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, simulating, and validating systems-level software, hardware, architecture, and algorithms that enable cutting-edge technology. You'll work with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards, bringing your expertise in power delivery, interfaces, and system architecture to bear on complex challenges.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of systems engineering experience, with deep knowledge of 4G/5G/6G systems and cellular standards. You should have significant experience in mobile, PC, Automotive or IoT industry, along with comprehensive understanding of ASIL, FUSA, FMEA, and relevant safety standards.

Responsibilities For Chipset Systems Architect - Senior Lead

  • Research, design, develop, simulate, and validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms
  • Perform functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications
  • Develop and analyze system level design including requirements
  • Collaborate with teams to complete project work
  • Develop new and innovative ideas for products
  • Drive triage of problems at the system level

Requirements For Chipset Systems Architect - Senior Lead

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field and 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of 4G/5G/6G systems and associated cellular standards
  • 4+ years of experience working in mobile, PC, Automotive or IoT industry
  • Knowledge of ASIL, FUSA, FMEA, ISO 26262 or IEC 61508
  • Experience with full product lifecycle
  • In depth knowledge of power delivery, PDN, component selection, tuning, PMICs, eBOM
  • Good knowledge of interfaces (USB, PCIe, SD/eMMC, UFS, LPDDRx, eDP, CSI, DSI, SPI, I2C, UART, SPMI, Slimbus etc)
