Responsibilities For SoC Architect - Functional Safety

  • Developing system level safety concepts for ADAS and IVI use cases
  • Work with IP and SoC teams on Technical Safety Concepts implementation
  • Conducting safety analyses and fault campaigns on automotive hardware designs
  • Leading functional safety activities for SoC development
  • Ensuring ISO 26262 compliance
  • Creating functional safety collateral for customers
  • Working with internal and external functional safety assessors
  • Supporting customer assessments of safety features

Requirements For SoC Architect - Functional Safety

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years Systems Engineering, SoC Integration, Verification, or related work experience
  • Collaborative work experience with good communication skills
  • 5+ years Automotive experience with Functional Safety Hardware/Software development
  • Experience with ISO 26262/IEC 61508 standards
  • Familiarity with FMEA and FTA
  • System level Functional safety analysis experience
  • Requirements Management Tools experience (e.g. DOORS)
