Qualcomm China is seeking a Gaming Performance SW Customer Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on optimizing gaming performance on Qualcomm platforms.
The position requires a strong background in software development, particularly in Android and Linux environments. You'll work directly with customers to resolve technical challenges, optimize device performance, and ensure optimal gaming experiences on Qualcomm-powered devices.
Key responsibilities include providing technical support to customers, performing device performance tuning, and working on software optimization. You'll collaborate with both external customers and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve product performance.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of software development experience in wireless, telecommunications, or semiconductor industry, with specific expertise in Android device performance tuning. Strong understanding of Linux systems, ARM SOC architecture, and performance profiling tools is essential.

Responsibilities For Gaming Performance SW Customer Engineer
- Provide timely and accurate answer to customer inquiries under the guidance of experienced peers
- Help customer for device performance tuning and Software optimization
- Assists in publishing product technical documentation
- Demonstrates Qualcomm products and offerings to customers
- Provide support to customers/distributors with design, development and debug Qualcomm software related issues
- Work closely with external customers and internal teams for problem-resolving
Requirements For Gaming Performance SW Customer Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years Software development experience in wireless, telecommunications, semiconductor industry or Android device Performance tuning
- Experience in C/C++/Java programming or mobile platform performance tuning/optimization
- Good understanding of Linux scheduler and CPU Governor
- Good understanding of ARM SOC
- Strong understanding of Android and Linux Performance profiling tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
