Description For Gaming Software Engineer

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

In this role as a Gaming Software Engineer, you will:

  1. Commercialize gaming features, such as Super resolution, frame interpolation etc.
  2. Work on game optimization including both performance and power.
  3. Work on competitive analysis, including both CPU and GPU.
  4. Work with internal team on feature evaluation, and commercialization.

You will be part of a team that pushes the boundaries of mobile gaming technology, working on cutting-edge features and optimizations. This role requires a strong background in C/C++ programming, game performance analysis, and an understanding of 3D graphics technologies. You'll be at the forefront of advancing mobile gaming capabilities, working with both hardware and software teams to create innovative solutions.
