Responsibilities For IP Physical design engineer
- Plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions
- Handle Block level PnR convergence
- Perform timing convergence of high frequency data-path intensive Cores
- Collaborate with design, DFT and PNR teams
- Support issue resolutions related to constraints validation, verification, STA, Physical design
Requirements For IP Physical design engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 4+ years experience
- Experience in Physical Implementation for high performance Cores (16/14/7/5nm or lower)
- Knowledge of Floor-planning, Place and Route, CTS, Formal verification
- Experience with Physical Verification (DRC/LVS), Low Power verification, PDN
- Expertise in timing closure and power optimization
- Proficiency with Synopsys ICC2/Cadence Innovus and PTSI/Tempus
- Understanding of clocking architecture
- Tcl/Python/Perl Scripting skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
