Qualcomm is seeking a Business Development Manager for their Carrier Business in India with experience and understanding in Connectivity, Auto, and Industrial & Embedded IOT segments. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, driving execution, and supporting go-to-market plans and customer engagements in India.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing business strategies for carrier adoption of Qualcomm's technology
- Conducting market analysis and research to identify trends and customer needs
- Translating customer feedback into product roadmap changes
- Achieving revenue targets by selling broadband solutions and services
- Working with distribution partners and design partners to expand the business
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 10 years of relevant industry experience in telecommunications/networking/infrastructure/Silicon
- Strong expertise in 5G, 4G, mmWave, Wi-Fi, Cellular IOT, and other networking technologies
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing business deals
- Connections with component suppliers and distributors in India and abroad
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred qualifications include an MBA, experience in a Sales/Business Development leadership position, and a good understanding of the Indian operator market landscape and regulatory environment.
