Post-Silicon Validation - Sr Lead Engineer

As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

In this role as a Post-Silicon Validation Sr Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading post-silicon validation efforts for Qualcomm's cutting-edge hardware products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and performance of our products meet the highest standards. Your expertise in hardware engineering, particularly in post-silicon validation, will be crucial in identifying and resolving complex issues, optimizing product performance, and contributing to the development of next-generation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead post-silicon validation activities for complex hardware systems
2. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and methodologies
3. Analyze and debug hardware issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations
4. Collaborate with design, software, and product teams to resolve complex technical challenges
5. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the validation team
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in post-silicon validation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 1+ year of relevant experience
• Strong background in hardware engineering, particularly in post-silicon validation
• Expertise in test methodologies, debugging techniques, and performance optimization
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with FPGA and DSP systems
• Knowledge of digital, analog, and RF systems
• Familiarity with industry standards and protocols relevant to Qualcomm's products
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for test environments
