Description For Power Integrity Engineer

The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a focus on Power Integrity, along with 6+ years of relevant experience. Strong expertise in PI fundamentals, power supply architectures, and PDN measurements is essential. Proficiency in industry-standard tools like ANSYS SIwave and Cadence Sigrity is required, along with strong Unix/Linux skills.

Responsibilities For Power Integrity Engineer

  • Collaborate with SoC, firmware/software, packaging, and system design teams
  • Perform PDN modeling, simulation, and characterization
  • Develop and provide implementation guidelines
  • Conduct model-to-hardware correlation
  • Lead PI model creation, simulation, and final design development
  • Streamline and automate design and analysis workflows
  • Prepare and present technical documentation

Requirements For Power Integrity Engineer

  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a focus on Power Integrity (PI)
  • 6+ years of experience in PI analysis, simulation, and PDN measurements
  • Strong understanding of PI fundamentals, power supply architectures
  • Proficiency in PI simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS SIwave and Cadence Sigrity)
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments and EDA tools using scripting
  • Knowledge of packaging and PCB technologies
  • Hands-on experience in electrical validation and compliance testing tools
  • Strong technical documentation skills
