Software Engineer Intern

Our Software Engineering teams develop products that enable these interactions. As a Software Engineering Intern at Quiq, you'll be an integral team member, working alongside junior, senior, and lead engineers to develop and deploy new features and fixes. A mentor will be provided for the duration of your internship to ensure you're appropriately supported. We aim for interns to make their first production commit within their first week. You'll apply your Computer Science knowledge to solve real-world problems using our modern technology stack.

Our internship program focuses on growth, with a strong track record of transitioning interns to full-time engineers. You may specialize in front-end development using React/TypeScript or back-end development with Scala microservices. Interns typically start during the summer full-time, and if the internship is going well, they may transition to part-time when the school year starts back up.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing code to resolve issues
• Deploying code changes across Quiq's various clusters
• Monitoring system logs to identify and address potential issues proactively
• Collaborating with Senior and Lead engineers on new feature development
• Embracing learning opportunities and continuously expanding your knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• Current Computer Science major
• Anticipated graduation with a Bachelor's degree in May 2026 (other timelines may be considered)
• Strong coding proficiency
• Demonstrated history of diligence and self-motivation
