Senior System Engineers, Ring

Ring's Taipei hardware team is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join their innovative hardware engineering team. This role focuses on developing and optimizing cutting-edge devices that enhance customer satisfaction worldwide. The position involves system-level architecture analysis, design, and integration of various hardware components.

As a Senior System Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that Ring's hardware projects meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and manufacturing partners, to define and implement system requirements and specifications.

Key responsibilities include enhancing system-level functional design from concept to production, developing and executing strategies for design and simulation, and addressing system-level design considerations with DFX (Cost, Quality, Test, or Assembly). You'll also collaborate with functional team leaders in areas such as thermal, power, acoustic, camera, and SI/PI to define technology roadmaps and assess impact and execution plans.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering, along with experience in developing functional specifications and design verification plans. Your expertise in working with interdisciplinary teams and managing technical projects will be crucial for success in this role.
