Description For Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions - Manager (Developer)

Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions (IMS) at Riveron specializes in the application of technologies to facilitate automated data exchange, connecting equipment, integrating machines with enterprise systems, and visualizing real-time performance data to drive operational and financial improvement. As an IMS Manager (Developer), you'll be involved in scripting and executing plant floor technology, managing key vendor relationships, and developing and deploying plant floor solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, designing, programming, and implementing Industry 4.0 and IIoT focused technology
  • Building applications interfacing with PLCs, HMIs, Databases, and Cloud Ingestion endpoints
  • Writing structured, well-documented code and designing intuitive user interfaces
  • Interfacing with clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborating with internal employees and contractors
  • Providing subject matter expertise

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or related engineering field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing PLC controlled SCADA systems and PLC programs
  • Experience with Inductive Automation's Ignition Platform
  • Knowledge of IIoT and Industry 4.0 technologies
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work remotely and manage multiple client engagements

Requirements For Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions - Manager (Developer)

  • Bachelor's in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or related engineering field or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing PLC controlled SCADA systems, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing PLC programs, HMI screens, and SCADA systems
  • Experience working with Inductive Automations Ignition Platform
  • Experience interfacing with ERP and MES systems
  • A working knowledge of IIoT and Industry 4.0 technologies and practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time/tasks independently
  • Experience working with large, imperfect data sets
  • Ability and desire to travel as required based on client location
