Job Description
Rundoo is dedicated to building cutting-edge software tailored for building materials suppliers, modernizing their operations with best-in-class technology. With $18M raised from top investors like Bessemer and CRV, they aim to revolutionize the industry, replacing outdated systems with modern solutions.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll make impactful contributions, creating heavily used software for clients, and introducing abstractions to improve team velocity. You'll also raise the bar for engineering quality by setting standards, mentor teammates, and collaborate closely with product, design, and clients to define new features.
The role involves working with Go to build and maintain robust backend systems. Rundoo fosters a transparent compensation environment, ensuring internal fairness. Responsibilities
- Make significant individual contributions that get used instantly & heavily by our clients
- Leverage orthogonal expertise to introduce abstractions and systems that improve the team's velocity
- Raise the bar for engineering quality by setting and enforcing standards
- Mentor teammates to help them grow as architects & engineers
- Work closely with product & design teammates and our clients to collectively define what we're building
Requirements
- Collaborate well with engineering teammates and cross-functionally
- Give positive & constructive in-the-moment feedback to teammates
- Excited to work at least a couple days a week in-person at our office in Redwood City
- Worked as a software engineer for 3+ years
- Written production software in Go
- Worked in a fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with construction or building materials
