- Drive strategic innovation and architectural excellence in public cloud solutions
- Analyze cloud usage patterns and identify areas for cost efficiency
- Leverage AI models to analyze cost and usage data
- Collaborate with various teams to maintain cloud spend and environment stability
- Participate in the design and deployment of highly available and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure solutions
- Advise service owners on cloud-optimized recommendations
- Develop and implement Cloud FinOps policies, processes, and guidelines
- Devise Cloud Service cost optimization rules and templates
- Ensure proper thresholds and alerts are created to track resource usage and cost consumption
- Track and report on cost savings achieved through optimization initiatives
Requirements For Principal Solution Architect - Cost Optimization
- Related technical degree
- 10+ years of proven related technical experience
- 3-5 years of demonstrated ability in Cloud, with experience as a FinOps practitioner
- 8+ years of experience in cloud operations or system administration
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, security principles and compliance requirements
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure
- Proven experience in Cloud Service Cost optimization planning and execution
