Senior Software Engineer, Connected Workflows

Samsara, a pioneer in Connected Operations™ Cloud (NYSE: IOT), is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Connected Workflows team. This role focuses on building products that modernize and streamline front-line workforce operations, developing digital workflows that help customers replace manual processes with automated, tech-assisted solutions.

The position offers an opportunity to work on a platform that leverages AI-driven data ingestion, real-time alerts, and powerful automation to minimize routine tasks and maximize impact. As a Senior Engineer, you'll play a key role in driving major product initiatives, working with cutting-edge technologies and directly impacting customer outcomes.

The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work arrangement (three days per week in office). You'll be part of a team that's building solutions used by industries representing over 40% of global GDP, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing.

The compensation package ranges from $180,200 to $212,000 USD annually, plus comprehensive benefits. You'll work with technologies including GraphQL, gRPC, React Native, React, Go, and TypeScript, while collaborating closely with customers, product managers, and designers to build scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities include leading 0-to-1 initiatives, leveraging AI tools for innovative experiences, driving technical leadership, and championing Samsara's cultural principles. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of full-stack experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset.
