Sitetracker, a leading provider of full-lifecycle project management solutions, is seeking a Release Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role sits at the intersection of customer success and technical implementation, focusing on enhancing client experiences through strategic platform upgrades and managed package migrations.

As a Release Engineer, you'll be instrumental in driving upgrade processes, working closely with cross-functional teams including Upgrades, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success. Your role will involve direct customer collaboration, technical problem-solving, and ensuring smooth platform transitions. You'll leverage deep Salesforce administration expertise while creating comprehensive documentation and training materials.

The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with outstanding communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences. You'll have opportunities to contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and knowledge base development. Within your first year, you'll progress from mastering core platforms to becoming a key knowledge leader and decision-maker in release practices.

Responsibilities For Release Engineer

  • Enhance client experiences through strategic platform upgrades and managed package migrations
  • Collaborate with Upgrades, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams
  • Develop instructional videos and documentation for customer upgrades
  • Manage customer inquiries through virtual meetings and email correspondence
  • Create and refine project templates, reports, and dashboards
  • Train customers and peers on Sitetracker product configuration
  • Contribute to process improvements and upgrade automation
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge base content
  • Collaborate on complex configuration and technical issues

Requirements For Release Engineer

  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce administration
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
