Responsibilities For Manufacturing Engineer: Root Cause Analysis
- Identify operational needs of production, define and write work methods
- Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings, process specifications, norms and standards
- Assess technical feasibility based on engineering data
- Gather data and create pareto
- Ensure technical liaison between different departments
- Evaluate technical content of support requests
- Investigate problem sources and propose effective solutions
- Exercise technical advisory role with production
- Support client during technical analysis related to non-quality or improvement activities
- Perform and follow-up problem solving (5WHY, 8D, 9F)
- Provide support and coaching to production on corrective measures
Requirements For Manufacturing Engineer: Root Cause Analysis
- College or university degree in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering, aircraft manufacturing or related discipline
- Comfortable reading technical drawings with good 3D visualization and analytical mind
- Experience with Catia V5 software
- Several years of production experience
- Proficient in SAP
- Proficient in French language (oral and written)
- Good knowledge of English language
- Team player with perseverance and good judgment
- Good logic and mechanical mind
