The company is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their global team, working remotely from London. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, requiring the ability to understand and communicate complex technological solutions to diverse customers.

The ideal candidate will work closely with sales teams to drive new customer acquisition and expand existing customer relationships. You'll be responsible for conducting technical demonstrations, creating compelling presentations, and serving as a bridge between customers and internal product teams. Responsibilities For Technical Sales Engineer

  • Support sales account executives and strategic sales manager with solution selling into prospect account base
  • Define and lead initial demos and presentations for potential customers
  • Develop strong working relationships with customer's technical staff
  • Stay up to date with evolving IoT technologies
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos
  • Communicate client needs to internal product & engineering teams
  • Create technical collateral (demos, videos, training)
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence
  • Assist in RFP and RFI responses

Requirements For Technical Sales Engineer

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer or customer facing technical roles
  • Proven track record selling complex SaaS solutions
  • Solid technical background in networking, cloud and software development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working remotely in a multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Experience with Public Cloud provider technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Network Infrastructure knowledge
  • Experience working in IoT ecosystem
