Responsibilities For Supply Chain Engineer (Composites)

  • Drive technical product improvements and engineering drawing updates
  • Deliver results measured by metrics like part yield, cost, defect rate
  • Review defects and solve root causes
  • Review and assess supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems
  • Manage supplier improvement plans and probations
  • Own the New Product Introduction process at suppliers
  • Research external market information to identify potential new suppliers
  • Develop supplier strategies for quality, on-time delivery, and pricing
  • Lead projects and drive improvement in the supply base
  • Define process parameters and criteria for supplier process capability
  • Audit and on-board new suppliers

Requirements For Supply Chain Engineer (Composites)

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 1+ years' experience with manufacturing/inspection of composite structures
  • Ability to travel 60-75% of work week
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirements)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing to work long hours, nights, and weekends
