Tesla's Material Flow System (MFS) team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their backend development efforts. This role is integral to the factory software system that controls material movement within Tesla's manufacturing ecosystem. As part of the team that builds what Tesla considers its Central Nervous System of Manufacturing, you'll work on sophisticated algorithms to optimize space utilization and material recovery, directly impacting the efficiency of Tesla's car production.

The position offers an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale software systems that are crucial to Tesla's manufacturing operations. MySQL
  • Degree in CS, CE, EE or proof of exceptional skills in related fields
  • 4+ years of experience building backend systems
  • Proven experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Go
  • Expertise in modern web technologies and frameworks
  • Database experience (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Experience with distributed architectures and systems
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
