We are seeking an Electronics Engineer Contractor for a 6-9 month contract to join our innovative team and contribute to the development of truly impactful quantum computers.

The role involves working with complex large-scale electronics control systems, where you'll apply your expertise in analog and digital circuit design. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and testing electronics products using industry-standard CAD packages and sophisticated test equipment. Your work will directly contribute to advancing quantum computing technology.

As an Electronics Engineer Contractor, you'll need 4-8 years of experience in high-performance Electronics Design, with strong knowledge of electronics circuit theory and EM field theory. Your expertise in PCB design using ECAD tools and proficiency with test equipment like spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes will be crucial. The position requires excellent documentation skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities For Electronics Engineer Contractor

  • Support hardware system design and realization of complex large-scale electronics control system
  • Design, build and test electronics products using analog and digital circuit design
  • Write documentation of electronic circuits and verification tests
  • Report progress and issues to the lead electronics engineer
  • Help with fast turn-around proof of concepts and feasibility discussions

Requirements For Electronics Engineer Contractor

Python
  • Excellent knowledge of electronics circuit theory and EM field theory
  • PCB schematic and layout using CAD tools
  • 4-8 years of experience in high-performance Electronics Design
  • Experience in PCB Design using ECAD (Altium or similar)
  • Experience with spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes and VNA
  • Strong discipline for thorough documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • 2.1 BEng/BSc Degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline
