Viseven Group, a leading global B2B MarTech service provider, is seeking a Data Engineer for a 6-month project working in EST time zone. With over 700 professionals and a presence in more than 30 countries, Viseven empowers top Pharma and LifeScience companies with comprehensive end-to-end software and digital marketing services.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing data pipelines, implementing ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity. You'll work with cloud computing tools, particularly AWS services like S3, Athena, Data Pipeline, and Glue. The role requires expertise in data modeling, visualization, and programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or Scala.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a pioneering team that's shaping digital transformation in Pharma and Life Sciences across 50+ countries. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop best practices for data usage, and serve as a subject matter expert in data engineering.
The company has a strong global presence with physical offices in Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, India, and the US, offering a truly international work environment. This remote position allows you to contribute to meaningful projects while working with some of the top 100 Pharma and Life Science companies worldwide.
Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Assist with data import (ETL) and maintenance
- Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis
- Develop overarching best practices and protocols for data usage agreements
- Manage flow of data from raw format to end-users
- Develop templates and infrastructure to support data visualization
- Maintain and update data model and documentation
- Automate electronic data exchange
- Apply data architecture best practices
- Serve as subject matter expert and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements For Data Engineer
- English level B2+
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or Engineering
- Proven working-experience in data engineering
- Excellent knowledge of relational database management systems
- Experience with data architecture with cloud computing tools
- Experience with AWS particularly S3, Athena, Data Pipeline and Glue
- Experience with test-driven development
- Hands-on experience in data modeling and data visualization
- Experience in SQL, Python, Java or Scala
