Responsibilities For Project Engineer - 6 Month Contract

  • Initiate and drive individual aspects of capital projects from concept development through execution
  • Assist in commissioning equipment and manufacturing lines and scale-up trials
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress and coordinating activities
  • Control project plans by reviewing design, specifications, and scheduling changes
  • Determine project specifications by studying product design and requirements
  • Complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety programs
  • Manage equipment fabrication and external contractors
  • Act as a resource for technical issues and participate in root cause analysis

Requirements For Project Engineer - 6 Month Contract

  • 2+ years engineering experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Computer literacy including MS Office, GSuite, Autocad and Bluebeam
  • Ability to delegate and hold people accountable
  • Demonstrated bias for action
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
