Description For Partner Sales Engineer

WalkMe, an SAP company, is seeking a Partner Sales Engineer to join their team in Tokyo. This role is crucial in enabling the WalkMe partner ecosystem to sell and deliver value. The position involves designing and implementing sales engineering frameworks and processes for the region, working with GSIs, SIs, VARs, and ISVs.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for prototyping and demonstrating solutions that realize business vision and strategy. This is an active presales role that combines both strategic planning and tactical execution, offering immediate opportunities for leadership and career growth. A key responsibility includes creating and maintaining WalkMe's standard product demos in collaboration with the global demo building team.

WalkMe's Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) transforms how organizations approach digital technology adoption. The platform provides seamless guidance through complex digital workflows across multiple applications, similar to a GPS for software applications. This results in improved process compliance, efficiency, and application ROI.

The role requires a strong technical background with at least 5 years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or consulting roles. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate expertise in building and presenting live demo environments to various stakeholders, from engineers to C-level executives.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and business, requiring both technical expertise and business acumen. The role reports to the Senior Director of Sales Engineering in the Tokyo office and involves collaboration with global teams while maintaining a strong local presence in the Japanese market.

Responsibilities For Partner Sales Engineer

  • Develop joint go-to-market plans and strategic value propositions with Alliance Managers and partners
  • Discover partner's business models, needs and gaps
  • Present WalkMe technology, roadmaps and value propositions
  • Build and demonstrate WalkMe solutions tailored to use cases
  • Motivate and enable partners to sell WalkMe
  • Participate in demand generation activities
  • Create and maintain WalkMe's standard product demos
  • Provide feedback on product and process improvements

Requirements For Partner Sales Engineer

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS sales working with enterprise customers
  • Technical undergraduate degree
  • Experience building and presenting live demo environments
  • Deep understanding of enterprise technologies and business value
  • Business English proficiency
