Wealthsimple, Canada's largest fintech company, is seeking an Analytics Developer to join their Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) teams. This role is crucial in protecting over 3 million clients and managing financial crime risks. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with financial crime detection while supporting both Fraud and AML teams in their mission to protect the platform and clients.

The role involves working with experienced engineers, product managers, data analysts, and data scientists to develop machine learning models, automated rules, and new in-app features to prevent fraud. You'll be responsible for transforming data, building metrics, and implementing robust data controls while working in a remote-first environment with over 1,000 employees across North America.

The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills with at least one year of experience, along with knowledge of Python and data visualization tools.
