Job Description
Weave (YC W25) is seeking a Founding Product Engineer to build software for engineering teams. As a well-funded startup backed by top investors, Weave uses ML to measure engineering, scanning PRs to provide insights on time allocation and AI utilization. In this role, you'll collaborate directly with the CTO and CEO to understand customer needs, design solutions, develop both backend and frontend components, provision infrastructure, and gather user feedback. You'll also address bugs, write blog posts, and iterate on features. The position offers a competitive compensation and equity package, along with the chance to shape the product from the ground up. Responsibilities
- Talk to customers to understand their pain points and requests
- Design and plan potential solutions
- Write the backend for a new feature
- Write the frontend for a new feature
- Provision the infrastructure to support a new feature
- Release the feature and collect customer feedback on it
- Find a hacky fix to solve a bug quickly
- Find a great fix to solve a bug and eliminate future bugs too
- Write a blog post about how you built your feature
Requirements
- Any years of experience (new grads ok)
