Job Description
Yarn is seeking an ambitious and product-focused Founding Engineer with front-end or full-stack expertise to help invent and ship brand-new AI-driven video creation tools. As a founding member, you will collaborate with product design to build and refine core interfaces, prototype novel interactions and experiences at the intersection of creativity and AI, and optimize UI performance. You will work closely with the creative teams at the fastest-growing AI companies.
The team is small, talent-dense, design-led, and product-obsessed. They deeply care about customers, relentlessly iterate, and prototype across technologies. The position is on-site in Soho, New York City. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge video creation tools powered by AI with a world-class team and strong equity.
The salary range is $170K - $225K, with equity between 0.75%-1.25% (top 10%).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product design to build and refine core interfaces
- Build the experience at the heart of our core agent experience
- Prototype novel interactions and experiences at the intersection of creativity and AI
- Write webGL shaders for special FX and graphics
- Instrument and optimize our canvas UI’s performance
- Iterate with our users - the creative teams at some of the fastest growing AI companies in the world
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a front-end or design software engineer
