Responsibilities For Applications Engineer
- Analyze and interpret customer inquiries and specifications to design appropriate equipment
- Assist with technical development and risk assessment of customer inquiries
- Develop cost estimates according to established guidelines
- Set product pricing using mark-up and commission schedules
- Determine and coordinate completion of required drawings for quotations
- Write, edit, and issue formal quotations to customers
- Follow up on customer correspondence during quotation phase
- Conduct customer visits for techno-commercial meetings and negotiations
- Provide management reports on proposal status and activities
- Create and modify sales presentations using Microsoft Office and web-based systems
Requirements For Applications Engineer
- Knowledge of Zeeco products or Combustion engineering
- Focus on Flare System products and technical requirements
- Experience in proposal management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Knowledge of Adobe and web-based systems
