Software Development Engineer, SDE, Selling Partner Promotions

Join Amazon's Selling Partner Promotions team as a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) to build systems that drive Selling Partner growth and enhance customer experience on Amazon.com. You'll be instrumental in developing services that enable Selling Partners to promote products through BuyXGetY Point of Sale Discounts (POSD) and architect solutions that unify Retail and Third-Party promotions sourcing.

The role operates within the Selling Partner Promotions organization, which implements structured processes including Quarterly Planning, Office Hours, and Feature Intake. These processes are designed to reduce workflow disruptions, allowing engineering teams to focus on building scalable systems for Selling Partners and customers.

As an SDE II, you'll be responsible for designing and architecting the BuyXGetY promotion platform while developing deep expertise in the Promotions business domain. You'll drive end-to-end software component delivery through collaboration with Product, Technology, and Business teams, and establish the technical foundation for future product iterations.

Your leadership responsibilities include driving system architecture implementation, establishing coding standards, testing protocols, and security practices. You'll mentor junior engineers and drive engineering excellence across the team while partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
