Description For Design Verification Engineer

As part of a dedicated team, you'll be at the heart of the chip design effort, collaborating across all subject areas in a vertical product model.

You'll own ensuring the quality of the SOC or specific IP/subsystem components, working with various technologies including Neural Engine hardware, DRAM subsystems, encode/decode systems, hardware security, high-speed IO standards, power management, and display subsystems. The role involves reviewing design/architecture specifications and close collaboration with design & micro-architecture teams.

Your responsibilities include developing test plans, defining verification methodologies, and creating comprehensive test coverage. You'll need expertise in digital verification, including constrained random verification, functional coverage, and assertion methodology. Knowledge of SystemVerilog, computer architecture, and programming skills are essential.

  • Verify functionality and performance of Apple's premier SOCs

Requirements For Design Verification Engineer

Python
  • Minimum of BS + 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog, digital simulation and debug
  • Knowledge of computer architecture and digital design fundamentals
  • SW programming skills with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with Python, Perl, or similar scripting language
