Description For Software Engineer III, Infrastructure, Google Cloud Data Management

Google Cloud is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Infrastructure team focusing on Data Management. This role represents an opportunity to work at one of the world's leading technology companies, developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users globally.

The position involves working on critical infrastructure projects within Google Cloud, which accelerates organizations' digital transformation capabilities across more than 200 countries. As a Software Engineer III, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale systems that form the backbone of Google's cloud infrastructure.

The role offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $141,000 to $202,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Based in either Seattle or Kirkland, WA, you'll be part of a team that pushes the boundaries of cloud technology and distributed systems.

Key responsibilities include writing system development code, leading design reviews, providing code review feedback, contributing to documentation, and resolving complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with software development, strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, and experience with large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
