The Software Engineer 3 role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements. Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Debugging existing software and correcting defects
• Designing and coding new software or modifying existing software to add new features
• Integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Developing and implementing complex algorithms and database interfaces
• Serving as a team lead and overseeing software development teams
• Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software

This position requires a TS/SCI clearance with agency appropriate polygraph due to federal contract requirements. The ideal candidate will have 20 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
