Description For Partner Engineer, YouTube Content Partner Engineering

As the Partner Engineer on the Partner Technology Operations team at YouTube, you will be responsible for owning the technical relationship with YouTube's content partners. This role involves working with and debugging technology-centric operational issues, identifying technology-driven strategies for partners to achieve their business objectives, and creating internal tools and data pipelines to ensure product/business vertical operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, driving, and optimizing business flow from existing and new opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies with strategic partners.
  • Performing implementation reviews, advocating new product features, and ensuring prompt resolution of partners' technical challenges.
  • Improving product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams.
  • Guaranteeing the technical aspects of partner integrations by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
  • Managing and supporting partners and stakeholders in Thailand.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, experience with client-side web technologies and programming languages, and a background in technical troubleshooting and partner management. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, experience with internet video technologies, strong communication skills, and fluency in Thai.
