What a waste of time! I talked to a senior technical recruiter and it was not how you would expect a senior recruiter to talk. Seems bad company culture. Stay away!
I talked to a senior technical recruiter and it was not how you would expect a senior recruiter to talk. The recruiter talked continuously in a robotic voice reading from a prompt about the company and the role for a good 15 minutes without looking at the camera in a video call. It's usually a big red flag to me about the company culture.
It left little time for the candidates to discuss themselves and their interests. Moreover, he hardly asked any questions as if it was premeditated not to select the candidate.
The rejection simply said not a good fit which is absurd given their tech stack is all over the place, reminiscent of a startup company not following best practices. Will not be applying again despite their advertised high compensation.
