AI Engineer Interview Experience

Process

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks.

The interview consisted of:

  • An initial HR interview, nothing special here, just a screening process.
  • After that there was one technical test with multiple choice questions that took about an hour. The questions were pretty difficult that had nothing to do with real life technical work. They were mostly difficult theoretical problems that they tried to adapt to real life scenarios, which they eventually failed in my opinion.
  • One more 1 hour cognitive assessment test.
  • Then one more 1 hour technical interview with the technical team. Mostly questions on my CV and adapted theoretical questions.
  • One last 30 min interview with one of the directors of the team. He also asked technical questions on my CV and nothing for my soft skills, working as a team etc.

I think they cared a lot about technical capabilities and not for soft skills at all. I didn't get an offer, neither a feedback rejection email.
