On April 3rd, 2024, I got a call from a recruiter stating that my resume was shortlisted and they were scheduling an interview for April 12th. I joined for 40 minutes on that day, but nobody from the panel joined.
On April 17th, 2024, they again scheduled an interview, which was both a skill-based and technical round. I got selected and received a call from HR. Documents were taken on the same day, April 17th. They told me it would take 1 week to 10 days to release an offer, but there was no response until May 4th, 2024.
Suddenly, on May 4th, one recruiter called me and said, "Have you done with the interview?" I told them yes, but she said I needed to give one final interview. I asked, "But my HR round also completed, so why do I need to give this final interview?" She was blank.
On the same day, another recruiter called me and said my compliance had failed and I needed to give the first interview again. This was also weird for me. On the same day, another recruiter called and said the final interview was a must, and I needed to give it. I said yes to that.
Again, they took 10 days for that, and finally, on May 15th, 2024, they took my final interview, and I received a rejection email within 5 hours.
Should I call this a scam? They waited around 2 months just to give me this rejection mail. Why waste somebody's time when you need to do these kinds of scams?
Your recruiter teams don't know what is going on. All are giving blank answers. I have experienced the worst kind of interview process here.
