Cons:

Significant uncertainty and lack of clarity in the hiring process. After completing the first technical interview and assessment test, I received an email at 12:20 PM to book a slot for the final interview round. However, just 30 minutes later, at 12:50 PM, I was informed via another email that Accenture is no longer recruiting for the role. This sudden change without clear explanation left me confused and disappointed.

Additionally, when I attempted to contact the HR representative for clarification, my calls went unanswered, further adding to the frustration and lack of transparency.

The abrupt cancellation of the role and unresponsiveness from HR suggest a lack of coordination and poor communication in the recruitment process, which can be disheartening for candidates who invest significant time and effort.

It was for a Node.js developer role in Bangalore.

Discussions included the event loop, threads, middleware, error handling techniques, clustering, forEach, map, reduce, callback hell, promises, and REST API-related questions. A few coding problems related to binary search and arrays were also asked, with a request to optimize them.

The next day, I received an email for the next round:

30 MCQs based on Node.js and Java, which had to be completed within 40 minutes.

Overall, I was disappointed with the recruitment and transparency of the interview process. Because I joined the interview and assessment late, before the final round, I received an email stating that we are no longer recruiting for this role.
