I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week.
I cleared the interviews and assessment and was selected. During my first interaction, I withdrew my application due to concerns around communication. A few days later, Accenture internal HR contacted me, confirmed my interest, and reactivated my application.
I then received an offer, but the offered location was Mumbai while my preference was Pune. Since this was not project-specific hiring, I selected “Do Not Accept Offer” on the portal, clearly mentioned the reason as location mismatch, and also emailed HR requesting a revised offer.
Although declining an offer can feel like rejection, my application remained active in the Workday portal. Accenture’s recruitment helpdesk confirmed that my status was in the “Make New Offer” stage and that I should wait for internal updates.
