I applied for the Application Development Team Lead position via LinkedIn.

I received a call from a recruitment team, and I told them my salary expectation.

Furthermore, I was also holding an offer from another company, and the recruiter promised me that they could offer me more than that.

I have been chased by Accenture's document collection team every day to upload my documents. I told them I needed to confirm first if I was selected and how much Accenture was offering me. But they insisted I upload them.

Hence, I uploaded the same, and then after a few days, I received an offer that was less than the offer I had received from the other company.

The recruiter was not ready to negotiate. They just told me to reject the offer.

After putting in so many efforts, I have been asked to reject the offer.

No one called me before releasing the offer. No one asked me what joining date I would need.

There is a big communication gap.

This is the first time I am reviewing someone. Recruiters really need to understand now that we are not products that they can pick and reject anytime they want.
