Pros: Started under Tech Transformation (Project Management), I asked the training lead if I could do Software Engineering (Modern Engineering). They allowed me and supported me in this change. That was in the first month, which shows the level of support you can get with the right people. Everyone is friendly and supportive, willing to help and go the extra mile to check on you. Training is very tailored to the project you're going to do. So, it is positive because it covers all the fundamentals, but negative because you initially have less of a say in what you want to learn.

Cons: There is documentation and a way to get help for everything. There is so much that sometimes it can be overwhelming. The starting salary is low compared to the average post-university engineering salary: £31,400.

Pros: Recognition if in the right project. Very good salary when onsite. Lets you work on different technologies. Great client interaction.
