Process
When the Accenture team first contacted me, they told me they were ready to pay the discussed amount of 16 LPA. I attended two interviews, one of which was in the office. I had to take a day's leave for this and travel over 30 km from where I stay.
After passing both interview rounds, the Accenture team contacted me and said that 16 LPA was not possible. They were only ready to pay 11.7 LPA with 20% variable, and this was non-negotiable. In my current company, I am receiving 11.65 LPA.
The Accenture team said that the person who contacted me first was from the interviewing team and did not know anything about the salary being paid. However, from a person outside the organization, I would not have any idea on this. I would like to know accurate information on the salary and would choose not to waste my time if it doesn't benefit me.
This is one of the worst experiences I have had with any of the interviews I have attended, and I will be leaving the Accenture team a very negative review. I hope other people looking to join Accenture do not face the same issue that I did.
