This happened in Malaysia. I went for a physical interview for a .NET role, but was given SQL, stored procedures, etc. for the technical assessment, which needed to be written on paper. Other than that, it presented real-life scenarios, which was okay and normal.
After the interview, no update or rejection was given by them. But I admit on my side, I didn't follow up because, due to the interview experience, I was no longer interested in proceeding with the process.
