Senior Automation Engineer Interview Experience - India

Process

The process took around 2 weeks.

  1. Technical knowledge test - theories.
  2. Technical discussion - SQL joins and clauses, Java basics and few codes, TestNG concepts. Positive discussion.
  3. Managerial round - Their most important person who didn't ask a single position-related technical question. They just wanted to judge you based on some theoretical questions and show you that you are not fit for the position.

After reading the Glassdoor reviews, I had some hesitation in my mind about joining this company, but the discussion with their manager made it clear for me that I shouldn't.

If you are taking someone's interview, it doesn't mean that person is begging. Your behavior shows your values only.

I am happy that I faced this last round of interview and got a clear picture about the company, or at least about the project where the requirement was.

They didn't even share the feedback after the interview, and they are not bothered to respond to emails. It shows how professional they are.

Note: I shared feedback based on my personal experience. It can differ from person to person. Corecompete might be a good company, but I didn't get that impression from the interview experience.

Questions

The technical round was good, with average to difficult questions.
