Accenture HR contacted me via my Naukri profile. Initial details were requested, and my salary expectation was asked, which I mentioned as 9 LPA.
After the technical interview, my offer was put on hold because they were offering me 6.5 LPA and some variables. I have 3 years of experience, so this is considerably less.
On October 18th, 2021, I had my interview with Accenture. The interview was very easy, and the questions were also straightforward. It lasted for 30 minutes.
On the next day, October 19th, 2021, I got the call from HR. My salary expectation was 8.5 LPA to 9 LPA. HR started the discussion from 6.5 LPA and then mentioned that they would put my profile on hold because I asked for a 90% hike, which they couldn't give.
I tried to understand how much they could offer, and they mentioned that they would give 6.5 LPA and variable pay of 21%, which would be something around 7.5 LPA. There was no joining bonus.
I had prepared extensively for the interview, but the interview questions were very simple. So, I was also in doubt whether they would offer me a good salary.
I have 3 years of Angular experience, and my overall experience is 4 years. For 4 years of experience, receiving a salary of 6.5 LPA is very low; I think I deserve much better.
The interaction with HR did not go well. There was no argument or any sort of wrong conversation, but the conversation gave me the feeling that they were hiring labor and wanted cheap labor.
Round 1:
Online interview in a proctored environment. All the questions were from Angular. If you have experience, then it's very easy; otherwise, if you study, it's also easy.
Round 2:
Online face-to-face interview. JavaScript basic questions were asked.
