Senior Java EE Developer Interview Experience - Philippine

October 1, 2021
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

This was in Accenture Philippines.

The main steps were these:

  1. Initial interview - HR asks about the basics.
  2. Technical interview - Technical interview with an Associate Manager with a technical background. They have a set of questions that can be mostly answered by yes or no. There are also some situational questions.
  3. Closing interview - Closing interview with a Manager or someone with a higher rank. They will also ask you some questions. But up to this point, you're more likely to have passed already, and this is just a formality. The interviewer will also brief you about what working in Accenture is like.

The interviewer during #3 told me to wait for someone to call me for the offer, but it's been almost a month. No offer.

I followed up the HR POC that handled my application, and he just gave me a robotic reply telling me to wait for the recruitment POC's email.

No offer still. Even if I didn't have an offer, they should at least give me feedback. They just wasted my time. They don't even treat their applicants right. Trash company. I don't recommend.

Questions

Have you led a team before? Do you know the four OOP concepts? Do you know how to use generics? (Like I said, mostly yes or no)
