Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Hyderābād, India
January 1, 2022
Negative ExperienceNo Offer
Process
They have asked me about what I am doing. No questions were asked regarding my subject, but at the end, they rejected me. This is so embarrassing.
I really don't understand how they onboard candidates. I think regional disparities exist while selecting any candidate.
Questions
Tell me about yourself and others. Blah blah.

Pros: Tagged to cloud first, so I got much exposure to cloud technologies and done certifications sponsored by Accentuate.
Cons: Management is the worst. Managers are always scared as they possess less technical knowledge and rely much on office politics.
You find more people who command you to work than who actually help and share work. Micromanagement.

Pros: It's hard to say anything positive about a company that doesn't really value the seniors who have worked there for many years.
Cons: Following the mid-year talent review results, most senior developers did not receive any salary compensation. Despite high inflation at the end of the year, salaries did not increase.
