Pros: - Great people to work with. - Pushes you to challenge yourself when encountering issues/problems. - Encourages you to contribute to the company's initiatives. - Exposure to big companies. - Chances to gain new skill sets through trainings.

Cons: Bad pay for someone who has earned a decent degree, i.e., starting minimum wage for IT specialists, CS grads, licensed engineers, etc. Bad, toxic working hours. Nine hours minimum but not always possible or achievable since your hours are counted per tasks provided. There are times when there is an absolute lack of tasks within the team, so you spend more than nine hours a day. Work-life balance is not achievable when you're in the technology delivery centers. You may even have work during the weekends or be on-call. Holidays are mostly not recognized. The benefits are not the same as before. Sick leaves now require medical certificates even when you just need some rest. The team that I belong to, as of writing, are funded in a "communist way." The client has already provided a budget for team building, but the management decides that we still need to "earn" that budget, even when it's already provided straightforwardly from the client. That budget is also split with other teams with different clients.

Pros: Great benefits and bonuses. It will offer compensation for certifications and a lot of opportunities.

Cons: There is a high chance that you won't be deployed to a project that is aligned to your primary skill or capability.

Pros: Good on matching long-term salary with market value.

Cons: Some projects have tight deadlines.
